Ok. An outfit two days in a row, gasp! This is what I was wearing this morning, straight out of bed to walk Dagny and start working. I wear these sweatpants every morning because 1. they fit (under my belly) and 2. they’re super-comfy and 3. they have pockets. I’ve had these for a year or more by now and have seriously worn them on the regular since I got them. They were big on me when I wasn’t pregnant, and they’re long on me generally, but I really love them. They’re similar in fit/style to my beloved 100% cotton JP sweatpants I had for years, but better because they have pockets.
Now that they’ve added polyester to the new sweatpants though…I may have to go back to sans pockets and James Perse, sadly.
And I just got this shirt today so threw it on over my tank I was wearing. It’s a men’s shirt, and very oversized, but perfect for me right now. It’s nice and soft and comfy. I think I may actually even sleep in it….and it’ll be great for breastfeeding.
So, a couple of you have asked me to share my baby registries with you and I will do so via email to anyone who asks. I appreciate the desire and sentiment to buy “baby R” gifts, but it feels weird to me, as a 46 year old woman haha. I mean, of course we can buy him the things he needs, but I do know that it’s exciting for friends and family to participate as well. And you guys ARE my friends/family..
So, if you leave a comment and let me know you’d like a link to my registries (Amazon and myregistry.com) I will share them with you via email – I have your email on the back end when you leave a comment, no need to put it in the body of your comment…
Honestly, it’s enough to know that you are all thinking of me and Leo and our growing family; I could not be more grateful just for that.
I’d love to send something for “baby R!” I had my baby L (who just turned 3) at 42. I’m excited for you, and looking forward to reading about your experiences of parenthood.
That chambray shirt, i loooooove! Send me a link please!
I’m finally cleaning out my closet(s) and I’ve discovered how many duplicates I have of certain items, which reminds me that I DO NOT need another chambray shirt in spite of how cute that one you’re wearing is. 😉
Yes, I really want to send a gift. It’s an indication of how much we care about you, Grechen!
I’d love to send you something for you and/or the baby, to celebrate:).
Yes, please send me the links!!
