WEARING
Splendid long skirt
Splendid 1×1 crew neck top
Camper sandals
Inhabit NY cotton cardigan
Jerome Dreyfuss momo bag (mine was a gift for review from Forzieri)
This is a slightly inaccurate outfit, because instead of the Splendid skirt, I’m wearing my new pair of Eileen Fisher harem pants (I took this picture before I left, in anticipation of this being my outfit, and didn’t have time to snap a picture today). Yes, I did it. There’s an Eileen Fisher store here on Park Avenue in Winter Park and while walking by I decided to take a chance that they had a pair of the harem pants and try them on. BIG mistake. They’re amazing, and I couldn’t resist them (got a size medium so they would be longer). So I’m wearing them now, although I’m a bit afraid of getting a pat-down at the airport because they won’t be able to figure out my pants/skirt…
If you already watched my video, you know that I didn’t feel like I packed perfectly for this trip, I brought a few things I didn’t wear, and could have used another Inhabit NY cardigan so I didn’t have to wear the same one with every outfit. Not that that’s a terrible thing, but I don’t really like to wear things too many times when I’m on vacation. And I was freezing on the airplane and in the airport, so I need to definitely re-think my actual travel outfit. I’ll re-construct that next week when I’ve had more time to think and let you know what I think I should have worn/brought for a quick 3-day trip.
Happy Wednesday!!
OMG, you got them! I need pics asap.
I’m definitely curious to hear how the harem pants (and your harem skirt) fit. When I saw them on the EF site, I couldn’t picture how it was physically possible to walk in them, since they looked like hobbled skirts…
They’re so easy to walk in! My stride is not very long anyway because my legs are very short so take that into consideration. They’re lightweight and so comfortable – I’m absolutely in love 🙂
Tomorrow!!
Hello-
I live in Winter Park!!! Let’s have lunch next time you are here! Shauna
I can’t wait to see them!!!! You’ve officially “crossed over”…;-)
