James Perse mini canvas tote
Well, thanks so some styling reminders from Kathryn last week, I’ve decided to keep the Rhodes sweater. I actually wore it with my Ulla Johnson overalls on Friday when it was a pretty cool out, and am wearing it today, this morning, since it’s cloudy and in the sixties. It’s honestly the perfect lightweight cropped sweater for me, something I’ve been looking for forever, and always wish I had, so I thought I’d better just keep it and check that off my list.
I may not be able to wear it with EVERYTHING, and it’s not necessarily something I’ll wear all the time, but it’s good for “winterizing” or “spring-izing” my James Perse tank dresses, and works beautifully under my overalls, and with higher-waist pants.
So, thank you Kathryn for encouraging me to try it with a few more things, and give it another chance 😉 I’m glad I did.
🙂
So chic! This cropped sweater and that EF duster coat are home runs in your recent additions. Along with JP skinny/ruched items on you, these are definitely head turning outfits!
thank you!! i am so pleased i decided to keep them both. with a little prodding 😉
Prodding (with your best interests in heart) is always good!
That combo gets a BIG thumbs up! You look like you feel good in it, too. That’s No. 1 priority. I’d probably style it with slides (maybe too summery?!?) but I like it with the platform sneakers, too.
Thanks, Kathryn, for reminding me to think outside the box!
Was so tempted by that sweater but I have one very similar. It looks great on you. I love it with both the Clyde pants and this dress.
I’m holding out now for the ES warmer weather collection!
I love this sweater on you and it is coming back 12/12. I know that I will have to move fast when they are released so I am wondering about the size. I am a 34B, 29 waist. Do you think I would wear a medium or small? Thanks for your help!
That’s my size! Assuming they don’t change the sizing I’d do a medium for sure.
Thanks!
