Well, I got a week ahead of myself putting away my winter clothes. Not that I have a lot of exclusively winter clothes, or that they’re necessarily “put away” very far, but still. I transitioned my wardrobe a week or so ago and we’ve gone back into the winter doldrums a bit this week, as much as we get that in Texas anyway: cold & windy. Yesterday, I wore the outfit you see above, and today, I’ll be wearing my wool James Perse turtleneck sweater. Cold shoulders indeed.
And can I say again how frustrated I am with this growing my hair out thing? In the scheme of things, it’s not so bad, but my hair at the stage doesn’t do what I want it to do (it wants to flip up at my shoulders) so I end up putting it back a lot, which I don’t mind, actually, and will do more once it’s REALLY hot, but it’s still just such a weird length. BUT, I really do want to try longer hair, like just a few inches past my shoulders, so now is as good a time as any to keep growing it. I haven’t had long hair in quite some time, so I’m interested to see how I like it. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t, and maybe I’ll cut it all off again, but at least I tried!!
