It’s definitely not cold enough here to wear this sweater OUTSIDE right now, but if I’m inside, it works. I go to work at Starbucks or wherever during the days on occasion and sometimes it is SO COLD my fingers turn to icicles. Even shopping for groceries at Whole Foods, I freeze. I try to never leave the house without a sweater anymore, although when it’s still almost 90 degrees outside, it’s hard to remember.
I got this sweater a while ago with the Splendid Refinery29 Reserve deal and this was the first time I wore it. I went with the small, and it fits fine. It’s so funny to think of you being in Austin, but having to wear a sweater so you don’t freeze!! And out here on the tip of L.I. , I’ve been just dying for it to be “sweater weather,” which it finally is. Albeit with bouts of warmth here and there (my daughter and husband went swimming–in the ocean–the other day when the temps reached almost 80!).
oh! but the water must have been cold!! i cannot get in the pool until it’s nearly 100 degrees outside.

I think they were nuts! (and you didn’t hear me say that I was in the water with them!! lol..) Well, that’s a good reason to go to Starbucks;I’m going to try that one on my husband, “Honey, I want to wear a sweater, so I’m off to Starbucks!” Too funny… ;- )
Woah those jeans look amazing on you, Grechen! I love the sweater, too, but beware. My Splendid cardigan shrunk in the wash even though the instructions said to go for it…

I actually have a sweater very similar to this one, but I do not really like it wearing outside because it is quite long and it keeps sticking out under my coat. So I use it inside.
