So…remember when I said I was finished buying? Well, I am. Now that I hit up the sale at Co-Op (it’s a REALLY GOOD ONE!), I’m finished for a LONG time. But I am going to allow myself some exceptions (how can I not buy ANYTHING??):
- I can use my credits on gilt, refinery29 reserve, etc. to buy stuff.
- I can use the money I receive from selling stuff to buy stuff – although I will try not to do this, it’s only for emergencies 🙂
- I can trade stuff
I’d like to say I will do this for the rest of the year (really need to get my financial “closet” in order!), but for now, I’m just going to go month by month. Wish me luck!!!
So, here, in one fell swoop is everything I’ve purchased recently: I got the T by Alexander Wang dress in black yesterday at Co-Op on sale for $109 (here it is in Sienna) and it’s a size small. Which doesn’t really mean anything, this dress runs huge! I do feel like the small fits better on me though, and it’s not so big in underarm area that I might be able to wear it without anything underneath.
I also got the J.W. Hulme bag yesterday at Co-Op, it’s on sale for $329. I’d been lusting after this one for a while, every time I went into Co-Op I tried it on. I couldn’t be happier with it – I love the color, the multitude of pockets and the craftsmanship. Like I’ve said before, you can’t beat a made in the USA, guaranteed for life bag for under $500…
Finally, I received the Rag & Bone sweater I got with the recent Refinery29 Reserve deal (now expired) yesterday. I got a size medium, which is good, because it runs on the large side in my opinion. I really love it though, it’s truly a Summer sweater – which I’d always thought was an oxymoron. It’s a very open weave, so it’s almost like you’re not even wearing anything. I wouldn’t wear it to run errands or if I’m going to be outside for any period of time, but it’ll be perfect for traveling, and for evenings. LOVE it!!

Oh, and my Rag & Bone sandals are now on sale at Shopbop for $262, but only in a 36 & 37 (remember to get your regular size!! don’t size up like I did…).

Mmmm, that bag looks so much like butta’ I could almost take a bite out of it!! I was eyeing the T by AW dress in black, too, but decided that we’ve got enough going on in our lives right now without me buying a dress. So I’ll wait and hope to find it elsewhere at that amazing price…
