It’s about the mid-point in the James Perse sale and they’ve added quite a few new items, including the ones I’ve featured above. My favorite new addition is that wool blend sweatshirt; it looks like a great piece for mild weather to just throw on with leggings and sneakers. You can still use code GRCHNHOLIDAY15 for free shipping on ANY order (good on non-sale items also btw…) so definitely take advantage of that if you’re interested in anything.
I received my order a couple days ago while I was visiting my mom in Atlanta. I ordered the sheer slub tee in pinot, side stripe sweatpant, and polar fleece pullover (all in size 2). I love them all, and will have some more information up tomorrow. What have you ordered? What were your thoughts if you received it already?
As I always do, I will open up the comments to trades, etc., if you’re interested in trading sizes or selling items that may not have worked for you, but I take absolutely no responsibility for sales or trades gone wrong; I’m just providing the forum for it. Also, please ask questions about anything you have your eye on!! I hope someone will be able to help you make a decision 🙂
Gretchen – I am interested in the funnel neck sweatshirt as well but haven’t ever tried on anything from James Perse before. I am probably between a 3 and 4 based on the charts but since it is an roomy style I am not sure which way to lean. Any thoughts? (I am a bit pear shaped if that makes any difference and 5’5″…Thanks for any advice you can offer.
on this style, i think i’d stick with the smaller size honestly. if you look at the side view, the sweatshirt looks nice and loose already, and like it would fit our pear-shaped hips well, even in our “normal” size. i don’t think it would hurt you to size up though, if you’re between sizes. my only issue with that when i do is that the sleeves are ridiculously long on me (but i have very short arms…)
i do size up sometimes to make sure that something long will fit my hips, but in this case, it really looks like that isn’t an issue with this one…
hope that helps!!!
Thanks! It does help! I don’t want to be floating in it either… 🙂
If I could swing buying something for myself right now (can’t go there!), I’d get the “Wool blend funnel neck sweatshirt” in a heartbeat! It’s a great price for what looks like a fantastic, quality, relaxed-fit piece. Have you tried it, Grechen,?
