These are not on my list

But I want them anyway.

Sydney and I were talking yesterday over lunch about shopping lists, and things we need. At lunch, I really couldn’t come up with anything I NEEDED, but after, while I was getting dressed for a couple of events I went to last night, I discovered that I need more cropped jackets. Not cropped cardigans, but jackets. I do have one great one from Anthropologie that I got last year, but it was too light-colored to go with what I was wearing. I think I found a couple of contenders at Anthropologie online though:

Hopefully I can at least check out the velvet blazer in-store; I still have my 15% off birthday coupon to use :)

But back to the shoes. The more I think about it, the more I DON’T think the ankle boots I ordered from Endless are going to work for me. I’ll only be able to wear them with one pair of jeans, and maybe long skirts, and I really hate buying things that aren’t versatile enough to wear with short skirts & cropped jeans…The Bass shoes above (yes, I did have a pair of these in high school…) are just what I need to keep my feet warm without being UGGly (I’m not knocking UGGs, I have a pair, but I only wear them inside the house) and they’ll still show my ankle. Although I did buy a pair of oxfords a year or so ago and returned them because I couldn’t quite make them work…eh, call me fickle, but now I’m totally re-thinking that decision. I also love these by Marais USA – I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a pair of hunter green shoes. I don’t know why.
