I love the stripes, but I don’t like the shapeless-ness. I REALLY REALLY love the 3/4 sleeves – it would be a great transitional piece to just wear over a tank top…

I bought this sweater the other day at Shopbop, and it arrived yesterday! Normally I don’t like to do final sale when your odering on the web, because you never know if it’s going to fit or not, but, like you, I have had my eye on this. It’s gorgeous, but it’s huge. I’m going to get mine tailored to downsize it.
oh, see that’s what i’m worried about – that it would be really big. would it work with a belt over it? or would it bunch up too much?

I think it would look really cute with a belt, and that is how I plan on wearing it after I get it tailored a bit. I think it looks too bunchy as it is right now. But, it has a seam running down the back of it, so I think it would be easy to tailor, if you got it and found it too big. Good luck deciding! It is a really nice piece, just really big. On the flip side, it could be a nice “trying to stay warm, while on the couch, with a book, and cup of tea” sweater
