New James Perse. Sigh.

I’ll spare you my usual “in case you didn’t know it I’m a James Perse addict” spiel since you all seem to know it already, so just feast your eyes on these new arrivals.

Brushed Jersey dress – this is a heavier jersey, and INCREDIBLY SOFT. The softest. My leggings and turtleneck are this brushed jersey and I love to wear them in cooler weather. I’m not sure I’d want to wear this in the triple-digit heat this Summer, but it would be great layered this Fall:

Speaking of leggings…you probably get tired of hearing, but my James Perse leggings are my favorite. These are a bit different, they have more of a cuff, and they’re piece-dyed for more character. Again, I’d die if I wore these here anytime in the next few months, but I would live in them this winter:

ah…winter…I can’t wait for cooler weather so I can wear this cashmere Kimono-sleeve Sweater:

And more kimono sleeves (which I love now, by the way; it makes tops so much more drapey) – and something I would totally wear now, probably over dresses, or with skirts:

And…another semi-kimono-sleeve top, this time with a very cool funnel neck:

What do you think of the new season? What’s your favorite piece?

I really like the cropped white top and the leggings shown here. A girl can dream, right? The only place I can find JP within my budget is Tobi’s sale page. I recently got a pink tank top there for $17, and a white boatneck top for $19.

I’m totally with you on looking forward to fall. My favorite piece of all time is my black stretch turtleneck, and I can’t wait to wear it again! I think I’ll have to save up and splurge on the gray one on sale at Net-A-Porter soon. That one is definitely worth owning multiples.

Is it insane to stock up on fall clothes now? I just bought a new coat too :)

tobi’s sale section is great, and i always try to stock up when they have a code too. now that i have the outlet nearby, though, i’m in HEAVEN!!! i’m trying to work on a way to let you guys also shop the outlet via phone…will update soon!!

i have that turtleneck too – it’s the same brushed jersey as that dress i featured, AND the “regular” leggings are also brushed jersey!! so soft…
i cannot stock up on fall clothes, no matter how great the prices – i have to be able to wear whatever i buy immediately :) but no, it’s not insane, it’s smart – if you can do it!!!

You’re sighing and I’m drooling!
The cashmere kimono sleeved sweater is gorgeous.
I’ll be checking prices and waiting for sales.

These are investment pieces in the truest sense of the term. They’re classic, seasonless, and timeless. One year fom now, or ten, they’ll still look great. May I quote you?
Sigh.

LOL – definitely they are classic – i just wish the price point wasn’t so high. but i guess then the sale prices wouldn’t seem so great if they didn’t start out so high ;)
i NEED that sweater.

I don’t even want to know how much the “Cashmere Kimono-sleeve Sweater” is, because I’d sell my left ovary for it!!!
