It’s almost over…the James Perse private sale ends tomorrow (6/28), so you better checkout soon to get the good deals. I’ve been impressed with the selection and prices with this sale, although I know they had quite a few problems with their site in the beginning so maybe some of you weren’t able to complete your purchase. I usually wait until the end of the sale to buy, but I’m a little frustrated with that strategy this time, because everything I wanted sold out in my size (like the old school fleece pants I’ve been craving FOREVER!!).
I’m still looking at a few things, I just need to narrow it down to one or two pieces, because, you know, I already have an overflowing closet-full of James Perse…
Long sleeve ballet tee | $64 (I love this, and it seems similar to my 3/4 sleeve scoop back tee, so I’d recommend sizing up)
Soft v tunic pullover | $84
Recycled jersey striped dress | $99
Soft multi-layer t-shirt dress | $134 (in black & white, I have a short sleeve version of this, it’s great, perfect for throwing on)
Has anyone tried any of these? What are you thoughts? What have you bought from the James Perse private sale??
I bought the soft multi-layer t shirt dress, black, size 2 and feel it is a little short to wear without leggings…I am 5’5″ with muscular thighs and the skirt rides up as I walk, revealing a bit too much leg. I will probably save it for date nights. I also bought the lightweight fleece pullover – love it! And I stocked up on casual t shirts. I blame you for introducing me to JP (I also thank you) 🙂
yes, it is sort of short. but i thought that was mostly just me and my dislike of my knees 🙂
i’m happy to take the blame for JP addiction – too bad i can’t pass it on to anyone else!!
I’m not a big fan of JP and owned just a few things that i like but I bought ( at regular price….. they are on the private sale now but they don’t have my size) the JP Seamed Scuffed Skirt in black (knee length and slightly lower in the back). I just went to Italy and I wish I had every color because so comfortable, so flattering, easy to travel, etc. I think I look good in all pictures thanks to it! It’s worth the full price really!
I also ended up wearing my black and my white with JP gauze jersey tanks. They go with everything!
Just bought another color at barneys on sale they have all sizes!
ugh…you’re making me want to get one of those now. i always hesitated because of my knees 😉
now that i don’t care, i wonder if it would be a good skirt for me…

Has anyone bought anything in JP color “tempest”?
Is it more blue or grey?
it sounds generally like it would be more blue – olympic is grey…
