Handpainted Swedish Clogs

I saw these lovely clogs just now over at NOTCOUTURE and thought a quick post was in order. They’re handmade & handpainted in Sweden by Asa Westlund under the name There Goes the Neighbourhood:

I love these, but more as “art” than shoes; they’re very pretty, but I’m not sure I’d wear them. Would you?

I love everything you’re showing this morning Grech, but, but, but THE PRICES.
Many of us can only admire $250 sundresses and frankly, although the clogs are gorgeous, I’d be afraid to ruin them by wearing them.

As for the purses, if I had the $750 to $1000 to “invest”, I’d go after your Alexander Wang duffle first or wait for a sale at Aster Alice and buy two or three amazing bags for the same money.

Hmmm….love the style, but the color??? I don’t think that mauve was flattering when it was in back in 1986! Sorry, but no.
