I hardly ever watch Gossip Girl (it’s usually by accident, I can never remember when it’s on) but when I do, I always want to watch more. Not so much for soap-opera-y story line as for the fashion…although, I can’t say I hate the storyline…
And I guess if I had to identify with anyone, in terms of style, it would be Lily, or Serena – definitely not Blair. But last night, I fell seriously hard for Lily’s cashmere sweater/huge necklace combo and would love to try and recreate it with this necklace from Anthropologie:
My impression was that she was wearing a camel v-neck cashmere sweater with a large necklace that almost looked like it was attached to the sweater (maybe it was) or part of it somehow. They went perfectly together and I loved the idea. Some other necklaces that could work:

I really dig “statement jewelry”–I’m a tall, shall we say “unskinny” girl and little pieces just get lost on me. I love necklaces especially and wear my Wendy Mink (sample sale at $39!!!) with a tee and a jacket, boyfriend jeans and shoe-booties.
