Wearing/Buying

I do love a good jumpsuit/overalls 🙂 I think I wanted to wear this Ozma pair yesterday because I didn’t want to wear a bra again.  The bodice is layered so it gives pretty good coverage, but the thing is that when you sit or if you lean over at all the girls just all hang out.  Anyway, not a problem if you wear something over top like this, or a tank underneath.

This “playsuit” is wonderful, and so comfortable to wear, but the raw silk looks really faded and splotchy grey now after hand washing.  My raw silk ES marlena midi has taken to wear/washing much better than this has, so I’m not sure it’s purely a “raw silk” thing, it may just be this raw silk.  I guess it doesn’t bother me that much.  Just making a note of it 🙂

So, the JP dress is what I’m wearing to a Friday night wedding in New Orleans.  As you read this we’re either en route, or there already. I figured this dress would be perfect for a Friday night wedding in the French Quarter 🙂 not that I even really know what’s appropriate for occasions such as that.

Of course I’m fixated and concerned that I will be cold, and I don’t really have a layer that is “wedding” appropriate (LOL) so I think I’ll just bring my Virginia Johnson shawl with me since I always bring it on the plane anyway.  My toes on the other hand…I would bring my Elizabeth Suzann mules to wear, BUT it’s supposed to be rainy also and I DO NOT want to take a chance getting them wet.  Ugh.  I’m over-thinking aren’t I??

I went to Credo again this week and got the Kjaer Weis lip gloss and eyeshadow.  The KW lip gloss is SO GOOD.  Not drying, and I don’t notice that I need to immediately use lip balm when it wears off.  I like the lip gloss a million times more than her lip tint – I thought that was really drying.

I’m also trying samples of lots of sunscreens: Suntegrity, Coola, AKT (love this one!! got a sample and am still not through it), Tatcha (I really liked the Tatcha one, but it’s not as natural as I want).

Oh, and my wardrobe audit. Almost forgot! Here is everything I have in my wardrobe as of RIGHT THIS SECOND.  The last time I shared it with you I had 176 items and with all the additions and subtractions I’m down to 174.   That number includes all my shoes, bags, things I wear to Pure Barre, things I wear at home, and some things that are in boxes to get rid of, but I haven’t yet.  I honestly think around 175 is my wardrobe set-point; I feel very good with how “full” my wardrobe is right now in terms of numbers.  I need to get rid of more things, so it will go lower, but then I will add in things and bring it back to it’s set point.

175 sounds like a lot of things, but in reality I don’t think it is.  It feels right to me, and have lots of empty space in my closet and drawers still!
