yes, these are my pants, I decided to sell them after an identical pair came in to slowre in the smaller size – I LOVE these pants so much.  they’re slouchy, and there’s no elastic in the waistband at all, but they’ll fit a wide range of sizes well, and they’re incredibly comfortable 🙂

Guys.  I am overwhelmed. I have had to be a step-parent, and a wife this week, along with a business-owner LOL.  I don’t know how you full time parents/wives/entrepreneurs do it all the time 🙂

No, it’s not a big deal, but you know, I’m used to my solitude during the day and being able to watch inappropriate for kids tv shows during my down time haha.  Now, with my step-son here I get neither.  Dumb, and selfish maybe, but it’s always an adjustment for me at the beginning of the summer.  I love having him here and we usually try and do fun things together during the days, but with slowre just booming I’m too busy for that now.  I’m having a hard time keeping up with everything.

And my husband has a skin infection on one of his fingers that got so bad, he was in so much pain yesterday, we went to the doctor and I’ve tried to help him out a bit the last couple days.  We’re usually quite independent, but do really well for each other when one of us needs it.  He was more helpful and amazing than I could have wanted when I broke my jaw; I think I’m a sorry comparison.  I’m not great at being very nurturing haha…I get too impatient! I’m trying though.  Just makes me sort of tired Hahaha.

Anyway.  I’ve enjoyed my new morning routine of reading Brain Pickings instead of Shopbop this week.  I have definitely looked at Shopbop every day, just not first thing in the morning, which I think makes a very big difference in setting the tone for the day.  I start it by soaking in beautiful words and ideas instead of fanning the flames of materialist desires.

And how is my no-buy going? I bought something! haha.  I told you there were no rules.  I didn’t mention that I desperately need new leggings for Pure Barre and I am definitely allowing myself to start replacing those, so I ordered a pair of Girlfriend Collective leggings in black, size small to replace my mediums.  And a smaller size of these Alo Yoga moto leggings – they are so good…

I’ve absolutely been “shopping,” but I’m sort of enjoying the challenge of doing that but telling myself that I’m not buying anything right now every time I get an urge.
