I’m frantically getting ready for the boho market this weekend at the Dallas Farmer’s Market. I love selling in person and talking to people, so I’m really looking forward to it, but it’s a lot of prep work! I have about 20 new arrivals to slowre (I got TWO Mociun tie-front dresses in two separate consignment shipments. Weird! but also great!!) that are heading to the pop-up with me this weekend, so if you’re local, it’ll be worth a visit, I promise. If not, I’ll have them up on the site bright and early Tuesday morning!!
I tried the chocolate/zucchini smoothie/shake recipe from “The Best Trader Joe’s products on a budget” this morning and it was good. I used way too many frozen berries so the proportions were off, but I’ll adjust next time and keep making it. I will try more of the recipes next week when I’m back to cooking! The article is sort of strange, because it’s more of a best CLEAN products at Trader Joe’s, and most of their products are pretty affordable anyway, so I think the “budget” word in there is just clickbait, but anyway…
What are you wearing, reading, and doing?? Any fun plans for the weekend?
I’m curious to hear your thoughts about stretch in jeans. I miss the feel and fit of my 100% cotton jeans from decades ago! It’s so hard to find non-stretch denim but I have noticed it seems to be making a comeback (though at a much higher price point).
Hi Grechen! I really enjoy your blog. I thought you might be interested in this press release from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
Among other things, it’s about which consumer actions are most effective in reducing the environmental load of clothing:

Love the dress on you!
You are stunning in all James Perse skinny/ruched dresses!! They accentuate your teeny tiny waist so well.
Hi Grechen!
Did you decide to keep the Only Child Willa dress? I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled on slowre for it. 🙂
oh, no, sorry!! it sold at the pop-up shop I did that weekend, so it never made it online 🙁
No worries! That was my other thought. Glad it found a good home!
