Organic linen delave jacket | $209
I would be remiss if I didn’t let you know about the Eileen Fisher “eco” sale – up to 40% off a selection of their sustainable styles – for 48 hrs only. I have not personally tried many of the styles on sale, but if you have, we’d love some feedback! On to my favorites:
organic cotton kimono jacket | $149
(a wonderful LSJ if I do say so myself LOL – LSJ = light spring jacket)
Silk & organic cotton kimono coat | $249
Organic handkerchief linen box top | $89
I’m pretty sure this is the same top I have in white…Love it.
hemp/organic cotton dress | $99
I love a simple dress like this to wear alone, or like model, over cropped pants.
Is the linen blazer in the top picture included? Still on the hunt for my LSJ…
Oh NM it’s the first item listed….
ugh. yes, sorry, i didn’t mean to leave that one out!
Saw this and was temped by the silk kimono jacket (http://www.eileenfisher.com/long-kimono-jacket-in-silk-georgette-crepe-f6gc-j4060/?&color=1958) but am wary of the reviews.
That said I’m very pleased with the system viscose jersey skirt and Francis sandals I recently bought.
I’m a big fan of Eileen Fisher and have some of her silk items and linen items. I love her clothing because its all natural fibers, mostly organic, ethically made and does wash and wear so well – I only hand wash her stuff. If I did bring a larger item to be cleaned I would only go to an organic cleaners.
The linen box top is a winner- I wore them all summer on brutely hot days, started out with the white and went back for the blue and black because the top looks great dressed up or down and is so light yet not sheer. All of her clothing is like that can be very laid back or minimally elegant.
Her dresses in any fabric are great, so comfortable and versitle can be layered over pants and worn alone , I also wash these by hand.
I love the Francis sandals! They were exactly what I was looking for for years – a chunky block heel of the perfect walkable height. It’s still so cold here in NY so I’ve only worn them around the house so far. C’mon spring!!!
I wasn’t going to get anything from this sale but I broke down and ordered the organic cotton V neck boxy sweater in Caper. It looks similar enough to Oregano, which was my first choice but sold out in my size.
thanks gena! i love my linen box top too 🙂 and linen dress, and linen pants….haha…
those sandals are so good!! but i keep trying EF shoes and can never get a pair to feel comfortable…
i don’t even see a difference between caper and oregano?? i LOVE THAT SWEATER SO MUCH.
These feel pretty comfortable. I wore them for a couple of evenings out the other week in Orlando and to work one day this week. I’m test driving them for a week long trip to England this summer that includes a wedding.
It looks like caper is more brownish/yellowish green while oregano is a gray-green. I’m stretching here …. 😉
Actually toyed with getting the cerise, which would have been way out of my zone.
I would have hoped for a better sale price, but it is EF. Her pieces are among the priciest things in my wardrobe but they also tend to be the most worn. Seriously, if my house was burning, I’d grab the cats, my box of old family photos and my Eileen Fisher black skirts and silk jersey tops.
