No, not exactly – I can’t even imagine such a thing as deadly ponies. But this designer duo is from New Zealand so perhaps they’re just being silly 
I first ran across Deadly Ponies at Ivy Blue (I love that this contemporary online boutique is continually adding more and more relatively unknown or harder-to-find designers!), wasn’t that interested in most of the styles they carried at the time, so they kind of fell off my radar. Until…my blogger friend Nanashi over at if-i-owned-a-boutique, found some Deadly Ponies bags at Souchi, and then at Shop Jinny – and now, I’m in love.
Now, BONA DRAG has added some Deadly Ponies, and the Mr. Zipalot is my FAVORITE!! (must be all the zippers…)
