Wow! Those are amazing!
How is this a clog? It’s more like a chunky slingback platform, right? It looks nothing like a clog!
it’s both! i think it used to be that clogs were simply basic, wooden sole shoes with full coverage, now they have different manifestations, but still MUST have a thick wooden sole. i mentioned before that i also thought clogs needed to be stapled or tacked, but i’m not sure that’s necessary all the time either. these definitely stretch the definition if you’re a clog purist, but rachel comey calls them clogs, and who am i to argue with her? 😉
Well, if those are clogs, I totally need a pair.
Errr… a cheaper pair…

Those are clogs… if you Google Swedish Hasbeens, they have a very similar sole.
(Side note: I’ve be lusting over them since I saw the pictures of the SS10 collection on Style.Com. Rachel Comey is so hard to resist. Seriously!)

“Clogs are heavy leather or wooden shoes with thick wooden soles”. That’s according to the “definition”, anyway. Does someone need to define “clogs” for fashion blogging purposes?
thank you for clarifying 😉
I loved clogs in high school, but people made fun of me all the time because they could always hear me walking down the hall. (Maybe I was just clumsy? Do clogs = loud footsteps?)
You are helping me reconsider their potential 🙂 But I’m still firmly obsessed with cute flats. I loved the James Perse / Repetto flats for this season! So I ended up buying a lower priced alternative: http://bit.ly/cZnwvc
i always seem to walk louder when i wear clogs…they’re not heavy, maybe it’s just the wooden sole.
love those flats you got!! very cute. i’m also obsessed with the repetto x james perse flats. waiting for a sale LOL
These are incredibly cute! I think I could live in these for the summer… Might have to break down and get a pair! (I’ve succumbed…. : )
I am not a fan of clogs, but these that you are featuring are not bad. In fact, I must admit that I kind of like them.

ah! glad to have brought you over to the “dark side” LOL – clogs can definitely be an acquired taste…
I want so badly to like this heavy trend but I really haven’t fallen for any clogs except that of Chanel ha ha and I won’t be getting those! 🙂
