Finally, a note on sizing…In the past I’ve just recommended taking your regular size in No6, but I think I’ll amend that now. I’ve had my peep-to clogs for years, and they’re a size 38, which is my regular size. I wear them, but they are quite snug, and have always been – my friend Sharon sized up in hers and they seem to fit her more comfortably. My t-strap sandals are a size 38 and they fit well, because the suede gives a bit more than the nubuck in my experience. I did order a pair of sale clogs from La Garconne in a size 39, so I’ll let you know if sizing up really works for me. I don’t have any experience with the boots.

Speaking of Rachel Comey, I hope you’ve noticed the category in the menu bar up above that’s devoted to all things Rachel Comey. I’ve also done this for Repetto, and I’m considering doing it for No6. What I’d like to know from you is if you’d like for these specific sale or new season notifications to stay OFF the front page, and JUST on their respective category page? Or there enough of you as obsessed with Rachel Comey and the other brands as I am that you want to see all the posts?

All the posts will still come through via RSS and in the email newsletter (if you subscribe), but I guess I’m concerned with “cluttering” up the front page with quick posts like these. Please let me know if you have any input about it!

Mohawk General Store has two pairs of Repetto BB flats (one gold, one gray) on sale for $132, which is just about the best price you can find for Repetto BB flats.

I always recommend sizing up one full size in these, but others do fine with 1/2 size up…

Stuart & Wright has three Jerome Dreyfuss Billy Bags on sale for $660:

All of these are the large size, which is the same size Billy Bag that I have (see outfits for real-life pictures). At first, I was concerned it would be too big, but when I use the shoulder strap, it’s much more manageable. And when I do need to carry more (like when traveling), I use the handles and can carry a TON of stuff, very easily. The Jerome Dreyfuss Billy bag is a classic bag, totally worth the investment (especially on sale!).

Inhabit was nice enough to send me a gift from the Fall collection recently, and I chose the lux shawl collar cardigan. It is AMAZING. So well made, comfortable and what I want to live in everyday. And I probably will…it’s replacing the older version that I’ve had for several years that I DO wear everyday at home. Stay tuned for an outfit post later today!

The private sale at James Perse started yesterday. Which you probably all know since you’re big fans like I am , but you probably also know that the site was IMPOSSIBLE last night. I frustratingly tried over and over again to access the sale and view products (I didn’t want to miss out on the casual t), but I had to eventually give up.

Anyway, today, the site is fine, you have to sign-in with your account to view the sale, but there are some good pieces at good prices, so it’s worth it. I always like to get one or two casual tees during the sales, and the color I’ve been wanting is now $29:

I also LOVE this color (Iris pigment) and this tee – and it’s on sale for $29 also:

The Iris pigment is a bit darker in real life (I have the short-sleeve version of this tee), and almost gray, but with a really nice lavender hue to it. So pretty.

And I can’t help it, but I REALLY love these pajama pants ($64), although I really don’t wear pajama pants…
