By now, you’ve seen my new Jerome Dreyfuss Momo bag (thanks to Forzieri) in outfits and traveling, but here comes what you’ve been waiting for (with baited breath I’m sure): what can I fit inside of it?? As I mentioned before, it holds more than you think, and definitely all the necessities, but I have had to pare down what I usually carry in my big Jas M.B. hobo bag to fit into this:

there are a lot more pictures, so…

I don’t always carry my phone in the back pocket, but it’s the most practical place for it if I have to answer it or check emails/texts. Not that this bag isn’t super-easy to get into, but I do like that it frees up space for other things inside. And no, it has never fallen out ;)

I love the card/ID pockets in the middle of the bag, and while I appreciate that the middle part unzips to open up, I’ve never had to do it and I’m not really sure why I would (?). I carry my change/bills in the detachable change purse in the front of the bag, my small BAGGU in the back with my keys and mints/chapstick in the front zipper compartment. I can’t say I don’t miss my Comme des Garcons makeup bag that I generally carry in my larger bag – it has several more chapsticks/lipglosses, blister block, tylenol, band-aids, tissues, cough drops, my inhaler….I could go on. But really, all that stuff is NOT necessary all the time. So, I’m fine without it.

Now, I’m not swearing off big bags forever, but I have really come to appreciate having this tiny Jerome Dreyfuss bag. It’s wonderful for the “urban hiking” my husband and I do when we travel, and it’s great for shopping trips when I need to have my hands free for touching pretty things. I’m in love…

Do you carry a tiny bag or a BIG bag? Do you switch bags out often? Or tend to carry the same one all the time?

I love that bag! Thanks for showing it because I never would have thought it had as much space as it did.
