(All Saints Cropped Itat shrug sweater/cardigan on sale for $49)
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that my All Saints Itat shrug sweater in various iterations and colors is on sale and/or 20% off at All Saints right now (use code MERRY for 20% off). I’m absolutely ordering this cropped version (it’s about $50 after the code) in burgundy, because, duh. NO, really, I love the sweater, but I do always wish it was a bit shorter – the regular version is quite long on me, which keeps me from wearing it as often as I think to. And the burgundy is so beautiful. I can also see myself wearing it in slightly warmer weather over my Emerson bra from Emerson Fry.
Go for it! Looking forward to the outfit post! 🙂
Oh so tempted!!!
Good to know about the sale! Also: a random unrelated question: I am contemplating getting one of two Zady sweaters, and I know you’ve reviewed at least one of them here – either the .01 sweater, or the .06, which is a slightly newer item on their site. I was leaning toward the .01, but then read that it can only be dry cleaned, which is always an INSTANT turn off for me, especially since Zady is supposedly promoting sustainability and dry cleaning is anything but, for so many reasons. The .06 is hand washable, which is more appealing, but I haven’t seen any reviews of that one so am not sure how it compares to the earlier version. Do you know how these sweaters compare in terms of warmth/weight and fit? And is it really true that you have to dry clean the .01 sweater? Since you own it maybe you can speak to this! Thanks so much!!!
hi jenne – sorry for my late reply!!
i love the .06 – prefer it over .01 now, just because it’s more what i want to wear right now…. .01 is nice and classic, but .06 is more “modern” – that said, i haven’t dry cleaned anything in years – i either machine wash in cold water on delicate some of my cashmere, or more likely, i use dryel in the dryer. everything has held up nicely that way, but i’m getting ready to switch to the laundress detergent and wool/cashmere spray since they’re more “gentle” – i really don’t find that i need to wash my sweaters much unless i’m wearing them all the time at home.
i haven’t hand-washed my .01 sweater, only dryel in the dryer, so i can’t speak to how it would hold up machine washing, but my understanding is that wool and cashmere can be washed on delicate with the right detergent – then laid out to dry.
thank you!!! so helpful.
