OMG. finally, I caved and gave in to my obsession with these Play Comme des Garcons x Converse sneakers from Azalea Boutique. (for those of you who haven’t been keeping track, I’ve been posting about these shoes since 2009!) Honestly, I didn’t really have to cave much; I used my referral credits to Refinery29 Reserve to get the spend $100, get $200 deal for Azalea today and got the shoes + this necklace by Denise Heffernan (pretty, isn’t it?).

I am SO EXCITED!!! I’m not really sure I’ll wear them all that much, but who knows…I can see them with boyfriend jeans, long skirts, lounge pants…

Do you guys have Converse sneakers? what do you wear them with?

AHHH, jealousy! I absolutely love the high tops but am unsure if I can justify them– looking forward to seeing how you incorporate these sneaks into your wardrobe.

i remember that you posted about these too…i never could justify them because i don’t wear sneakers much (at all), but would secretly like too – a la the perfect casual chic French woman

Couldn’t resist- I got the Refinery 29 deal. Figured if not the high tops I will have no trouble using it for some of the spring T by Alexander Wang offerings!

Grechen, you are super duper right about there never is any coupon codes for CdG or Alexander Wang! It is a good deal and we are getting great feedback about the Reserve deal we are having right now. We have the Jack Purcell x CdG special edition of the sneaks right now – http://www.azaleasf.com/p/CdG-Play-X-Jack-Purcell-in-White/CDPWSHSNEK106WHITE, comes in black as well. the play heart is too cute. I have some knockoff white converse, lol, too cheap to splurge on the CDG play ones.

I just found your blog and I’m so sad I missed out on the deal for the CDG wallets? what exactly was it? refinery29 reserve looks like some sort of gilt.com? I lost my wallet recently so ive been looking to replace!
