We’re not going out tonight (my fiance’s son is visiting), so I’m not really wearing this, but if we were, I guess this is what I would wear…I did actually wear it last night out for happy hour with my friends Sharon & Sydney though. So it IS an outfit. And you’ll be pleased to know I decided to keep this dress. And persuaded Sharon to get it. Now there are at least three of us in Austin with this dress…..we should do a photoshoot

Gap tank top – got it for $3 and I HATE IT. I bought three of them last week and they’ve all stretched out so much they’re barely wearable. And in spite of having a few white tank tops, not one is THE PERFECT WHITE TANK TOP. Know what I mean?

And yes, you read the title correctly. I spent an hour putting on and taking off clothes this morning getting ready for my friend Sharon to pick me up and go shopping. The weather is weird today – a little cool, but supposed to warm up a lot during the day. And I wanted to wear my new James Perse stuff, but couldn’t make ANYTHING work. NOTHING. Honestly, I just wanted to wear the exact same outfit I wore yesterday. But that would be boring.

I took my fiance’s son out to run some errands and while we were browsing Nordstrom (oops!), I tried on this James Perse bolero/cardigan again and decided to get it, and then on total impulse, I picked up my favorite t-shirt, the casual tee, in the new Rosenude color – which is gorgeous.
